Fishes are generally considered to be one of the finest creatures of nature. But there are some odd-looking fishes in the world which are extremely horrible. .1) Sheepshead fish
It has several rows of teeth layered upon each other. They are capable of consuming a wide variety of foodstuff just like human beings. Also, the taste of this fish is way better than other species of its kind. It’s not clear why the fish is called as Sheepshead fish but it’s been suggested that its teeth look like sheep’s teeth.
2) Parrotfish
Their teeth are not similar to us. Their teeth are arranged in a tightly packed mosaic on the external surface of jaw bones, forming a parrot-like beak.
3) Promachoteuthis Sulcus
It is a rare and recently discovered deep marine squad best known for its apparently human like mouth. Don’t get scared by its look as it’s just an inch long. The creature has gained a small fan following on social media for obvious reasons.
4) Pacu fish
Pacu has square and straight teeth which are uncannily similar to human teeth. They are commonly sold as “Vegetarian Piranhas” to home aquarium owners.
5) Goliath Tiger fish
It is a very big voracious freshwater fish found in Africa. The mouth of this yellow-eyed monster fish is covered with huge, dagger-like canine teeth – each more than two inches long.
6) Goonch fish
It is a 7 feet long fish having razor sharp teeth belonging to the catfish family. The Kali river Goonch attacks were a series of fatal attacks on humans believed to be perpetrated by man eating goonch catfish in 3 villages on the banks of the Kali river in India and Nepal between 1998 and 2007.
7) Great Barracuda
The Great Barracuda is a wicked fish having 3-inch teeth. They are elongated fish having powerful jaws. These fish may reach up to 6 feet in length, and weigh over 100 pounds.
8) Wels Catfish
It is also called as sheatfish. This demonic looking killer fish is 13 feet in length and weigh over 400 pounds. It has massive rows of razor sharp teeth.
9) Muskellunge
The fish grows to length of over 7 feet and weighs nearly 80 pounds. It has a mouth full of daggers that can easily kill waterfowl, muskrats and perch.Source
